Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Range PRO mobile application ("App") provided by Cyber Design ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Range PRO, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License Grant

2.1 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or commercial target shooting purposes.

2.2 Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or modify any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Redistribute or resell the App
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws

3. Subscription and Payment

3.2 Subscription Fee

• After trial: $15 USD per year
• Annual subscription, auto-renewable
• Charged through Apple App Store

3.3 Cancellation

• Cancel anytime through your Apple App Store account settings
• Access continues until end of current billing period
• No refunds for partial subscription periods (subject to Apple's refund policy)

3.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Camera Equipment

You are responsible for:

• Purchasing and setting up compatible cameras
• Ensuring cameras meet RTSP/ONVIF standards
• Maintaining camera security and credentials
• Network configuration and security

4.2 Legal Compliance

You agree to:

• Follow all local laws regarding firearms and shooting
• Use the App only at authorized shooting ranges or private property
• Comply with all safety regulations
• Ensure cameras are installed legally and safely

5. Camera Compatibility

5.1 Verified Cameras

We provide a list of verified compatible cameras. However:

• Compatibility is not guaranteed for all models
• Camera manufacturers may update firmware affecting compatibility
• "Verified" status does not constitute a warranty

5.2 No Warranty on Third-Party Hardware

We are not responsible for:

• Camera functionality or quality
• Camera manufacturer defects
• Network connectivity issues
• Third-party equipment failures

6. Machine Learning Data Collection

As described in our Privacy Policy:

• We collect anonymous target images to improve ML accuracy
• No personal or location data is collected
• You can opt-out in app settings

7. Intellectual Property

Range PRO, including:

• App design and code
• ML models and algorithms
• Trademarks and branding
• Documentation and content

Are owned by Cyber Design and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.3 Liability Limit

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription (max $15)
• We are not liable for firearm accidents, injuries, or property damage

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cyber Design from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of applicable laws
• Any firearm-related incidents

10. GDPR and Privacy

We comply with GDPR and Swedish data protection laws. See our Privacy Policy for information about your rights under GDPR.

11. Age Restriction

You must be at least 18 years old to use this App and of legal age to:

• Handle firearms in your jurisdiction
• Use shooting ranges
• Possess cameras for shooting purposes

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may terminate your subscription at any time through Apple App Store settings.

12.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent activity
• Required by law
• We discontinue the service (with notice)

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes will be resolved in Swedish courts, unless EU consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

15. Apple App Store Terms

Your use is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms and Conditions. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their policies. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID account.
